Join us for a Town Hall with County Legislator, Catherine Parker on April 29

On Sunday, April 29 at 2pm, Up2Us will welcome Westchester County Legislator and Majority Leader, Catherine Parker for a Town Hall meeting at the Millwood Firehouse in Millwood.

Catherine Parker represents the 7th Legislative District (Larchmont, Mamaroneck, Rye, Part of Harrison and Part of New Rochelle) and is currently serving as the Majority Leader of the Democratic Caucus.

Catherine has played a role in the passage of the act prohibiting gun shows at the Westchester County Center and other county facilities.  As a sponsor of the creation of a County Energy Director position, she looks forward to working with the County Executive to see the role of the Director expand to help improve energy efficiency across the County and reduce some of the financial burden of taxpayers. Legislator Parker has also introduced legislation to Limit Use of Plastic Bags and Styrofoam by retailers in the county and to provide for cleaner air by reducing and eventually eliminating the use of dirtier #4 and #6 heating fuels.

We look forward to hearing her thoughts on Westchester County Government and legislative issues.

The Millwood Fire House is located at 100 Millwood Road in Millwood, NY.
